1000 Pieces of Madness

There have been many different puzzles shown on this blog, but there’s still a few more to be shown. Like most of the other ones, these are 1000 pieces except for one, which is 750 pieces.

Let’s start with the dolphin puzzle. If you remember, I had already put together a puzzle of a dolphin, but this one is different. As you can see, this one is different and filled with more colours than the other one. The trees were definitely the hardest part of the puzzle to put together because the pieces looked exactly the same. It might be a little hard to see in the picture, but the dolphins and a few other things in the puzzle have a shiny outline around them. I thought this added a nice effect to the puzzle to make it look prettier.

The next puzzle is of a train. I picked this one out because I liked the vintage look to it. It also reminded me of the Hogwarts Express from the Harry Potter series. I also liked the colour scheme of the sky because blue and purple are my favourite colours and I think both colours together look very pretty.

Next up is a puzzle of wolves. I wasn’t the one who picked this one out. My friend wanted it because she loves wolves, so I got it. Once we got back to my house after buying it from Walmart, we started putting it together. It took us, and another friend about two weeks to finish it.

This is now the second last puzzle that I’ve done and as you can see, it’s of two men. You might recognize them, and you might not. If you don’t know who they are, they’re from the show Vampire Diaries. Paul Wesley (left) plays Stefan Salvatore and Ian Somerhalder (right) plays Damon Salvatore. I bought this because it was three dollars from the dollar store and Vampire Diaries is one of my favourite shows. My friend also has this same puzzle. Another reason I bought this is because it’s great eye candy to look at every day.

This last puzzle is a special one. As you can see, it’s James Dean. Why is it special, you ask? Well, I don’t know much about James Dean, but he’s my dad’s idol. So, I saw this puzzle at the dollar store and I thought, this would be perfect for my dad. I knew my dad wouldn’t have time to put it together himself, so I did it for him, framed it and gave it to him for a Christmas present. It may have only cost three dollars, but my dad loved it and it’s the thought that counts.
